Structure without slowing teams down
Step by step — exactly what happens under the hood.
All new diagrams begin in Draft status. Teams can iterate freely — no review required until the diagram is ready for sign-off.
Move to In Review by submitting the diagram. A snapshot is taken automatically — the submitted version is locked while review is in progress.
Once approved, the diagram moves to Approved status and is published to the team's diagram catalogue. The approval decision is recorded permanently.
Name any approved version as a milestone (e.g. "v1.0 — Initial Release", "v2.0 — Post-migration"). Milestones are permanent reference points.
When a diagram is replaced by a newer version, mark it as Deprecated. It remains visible in history but is clearly flagged as no longer current.
Built for real workflows
Not just a feature — a step change in how your team designs, reviews and governs architecture.
Governance and risk teams can see exactly what was approved, when, by whom, and what version was current at any point in time.
Compare any two versions of a diagram side by side — useful for change reviews, audits and understanding what changed between milestones.
The approved diagram catalogue is a searchable library of all designs that have passed review — a single source of truth for architecture decisions across the organisation.
